When I was just building a 16x16x16 recreation of the Honey Block (as people do), I realized something. I was filling in the inside of the structure, and the way I was doing so was I was filling in yellow wool left to right until 1 14x1x14 layer was completed, and I continued doing so from the bottom of the structure to the top.
But as I was getting to the last 2 layers at the top, I realized I'd have to fill in the last 2 layers at the same time, going from left to right until both layers were finished, and I could pop out through a hole in the top and close it up. It wasn't a problem, it was just a bit of a minor inconvenience, but I realized many other people, including myself, have had this issue on a larger scale and in those cases, having to respect the 1x2x1 space that the player takes up can be a pain, and makes things a lot harder.
But I have a solution to this. In Spectator Mode, you are just a camera, and no rules or physics in the game apply to you. What if there was an option to enable that type of gameplay in Creative mode? Just, now you're a player. Being able to phase through blocks at will would be awesome, and would make things so much easier to build and mess around with. This would be a toggleable feature, probably through a hotkey or something.
But if there's a reason that you don't like the idea, please let me know! Thanks!
