The Wither status effect turns you into an undead entity over its duration

This is my idea to make the Wither status effect more interesting. When you're inflicted with the Wither effect, you start to wither and die slowly, you are in a limbo between life and death. 

With this new mechanic, you should be careful not to use healing potions and use potions of harming instead. You should also be careful with players equipped with a Smite sword/axe, as they will deal more damage to you.

But not everything is bad news. If your opponent only has arrows of harming, you could even Wither yourself on purpose, and get healed with their arrows.

You could also wither yourself and use lingering or splash potions of harming when fighting your opponent up close, so you're not harmed but healed instead.

On Bedrock Edition, you can use arrows of decay (they apply Wither on targets), and enchant your weapons with Smite instead of Sharpness.

    I think that this could be really interesting. Although it doesn't feel vanilla enough, I think that the team could tweak some aspects and balance it a little bit
