Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

Nintendo Switch Edition missing DLC that is present on all other platforms

The Nintendo Switch Edition of the game has lacked multiple minigame DLC packs since its launch. These packs provide entirely new Battle arenas and Glide stages, which are a rather large part of the mode as a whole. These DLC packs are available on every other Console Edition platform (even Wii U), so it seems somewhat unfair that someone I know just recently bought these packs on the Xbox One Edition, but I cannot simply because I am on Switch.

I think it would fantastic if 4J Studios could finally release these DLC packs on Nintendo Switch Edition so that Switch players could finally have the full minigame experience, as well as for the sake of parity with every other version of Minecraft Console Edition.

This would be nice but I doubt it's going to happen. Minecraft Bedrock is basically the universal console edition now.
