Inflammable vest (nether update?) (name not final)

The idea for the inflammable vest is to create immunity to lava/fire/blazes it can be worn like a chest plate while it only has the defence of say leather armour it still is a good use of fire protection The vest could be a good use when traveling in the nether and to travel across the lava oceans, Perhaps this armour piece could deplete over time of use so the longer you wear it in hot climates the quicker it’s defence depletes. Also this could be crafted from a new material dropped by striders. I hope you agree that this would be a great addition to the future of Minecraft Thank you
