I was a realm owner for 2 year and tried many different game styles and ways to add members to servers. For example, a survival realm and every player was vetted through party chat and voted in by the community currently available to do so. This option had the best results. Then we transitioned to a public server where every member was allowed to invite up to a certain number of their own guests as we were changing to an Anarchy server and creating clans and Kingdoms with their own governances and bylaws. This got messy. We also did community events where a minigame was uploaded and winners were rewarded gift cards and game items in the normal realm. Regardless of the play style or realm format one thing remained consistent, having a great hidden location and being given away by your floating name tag above your head.
So I would like to offer a simple solution to remedy this small annoyance. There is an option already in Bedrock to disable player names, but this is only for you and does not prevent others from seeing your tag, just you not seeing theirs. We tested this. So I feel like having an option for realms to be able to disable all player tag names would greatly improve this paid service. Having an on off switch may not satisfy all realm owners and their members and for this reason I would like to suggest a slidebar, similar to the view distance, for the range in which one player can see anothers tag. This could be easily customizable for any game style.
