Keep inventory when switching a realm world option

I was thinking that maybe Mojang could make it so that when you switch your Minecraft realm world to a different world, you can keep the inventory you had in the previous world. This would be an option in the game settings. I want to see this come because I want to switch my realm world to a different one, but also not have people lose their inventory and having to restart everything, or people asking to get their items back.

    I like this. It's similar to Terraria's character system.

    Yes, this exactly. Visiting friends worlds or transferring to a new one seems meaningless because you lose everything when you return. Makes me lose interest when big updates come or my save is too bloated and I have to restart.

    It would be great if inventory is saved to your character instead of the world.
