Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Haunted Bookshelf

Spawn in stronghold libraries and woodland mansion libraries within other normal bookshelves blocks.

That bookshelf is a trap and spawn regularly haunted books (imagine a book on a lectern but with teeth and flying)

Those weak haunted flying books with teeth (2 hearts) will simply go toward the player rapidly and will stick to their direction:

They can get stuck on the ground/in the wall if avoided.

 

Crafted by using bookshelf a ghast tear and an ender eye. Can be picked with silk touch too.

This is in the continuity of trapped silverfish stone block to make stronghold or mansion more fun to explore.

    Maybe it will not atack the a player that placed it down (if player placed) and maybe they can also add other players that it won't go after.

    I feel like this would work better in a mod, but cool idea.

    To make it more interesting they could drop books and there could be a rare enchanted variant that spawns rarely that drops a random enchanted book.
