Giving iron golems nether stars and hearts of the sea

Iron golems are good and all, but a little customization would be nice as well. That’s why you should be able to give iron golems different end game items for special effects. Some ideas of this are: Giving an iron golem a Heart of the Sea (a rarely sought after item) in order to give it the ability to heal villagers around it as well as a prismarine-like appearance. Or giving an iron golem a nether star so it sets targets on fire, and has flame particles around it. Maybe even giving one an ender dragon head, making the golem comically wear it, so it can breathe magic Like the dragon itself

    Super creative bro! I always find suggestions on how we should have new golems in general and this makes so much sense and would be super fun. Plus the ability to now heal iron golems now will makes this idea sound even better.

    A quick little side note: there are concerns this could make golems a little too powerful, but that’s the reason why you’ll need end-game items to equip the golems. It gives more of a reason to hunt for them. For example, almost nobody is going to hunt for a heart of the sea, so if you can hunt for it to upgrade an iron golem it’ll give the player incentive to actually try and find a heart of the sea and reap the great reward

    If an Iron Golem with an Ender Dragonhead isnt total badass  it wouldnt worth the effort

    Well, currently you can give an iron golem iron to heal it, so maybe clicking it but with one of these items changes it? Or alternatively you might need to apply it would it is being built? For the dragon head you could use it in place of the pumpkin, for the heart of the sea tho? Maybe place it on the block center of iron with a item frame? (So it is the 'heart' of the iron golem?) And as for the nether star... I'm not sure? I might actually say 3 nether stars one on each block in the direction the the pumpkin head is facing (with an item frame) in reference to the 3 heads of a wither

    I like this idea as you can customize iron golems. However, like all mobs, there should be a weakness and strengths. For example, a Heart of the Sea golem would constantly be damaged and weakened and slowed in fire/lava/hot biomes, but can swim and be faster and stronger in water. The Nether Star golem would explode when the nether star takes several direct hits, and would have the weakness and strength of a heart of the sea golem, except reversed. The ender dragon head golem has a chance to accidentally explode itself .

    I think this really is a good way to give variety to golems and also another reason to go on adventures to find rare items! Plus, I think players should be able to customise golems by right-clicking on them with dyed leather tunics or other armors, to make them wear it. It can be only a visual change (for leather tunics) or a slight defense boost (diamond armor), just to spice up golems

    Love these ideas! I think a Nether Star should have a iron golem turn into like a darker color and give it buffs like more strength. And then a Heart of the Sea would give it more health!

    Both of these should also sorta be visible at the center of the golem too, with the Heart of the Sea being a blue orb with a yellow heart to show it's repurposed itself from a conduit and then the star should be in cool  glowing fragments around wires
