I did actually make an add-on replacing the iron weapons with ancient fossil. While mining you can come across ancient fossils, (they aren’t special you can come across them just like any ore). Of course you can mine the ore with a pickaxe, it has to iron, only iron. You might ask why, so here is why, the fossil, being so old, can break too easily with a diamond pickaxe. When you mine up the fossil, you get not a bone, but a tiny rock full of the fossil. Use these fossils to make armor, and weapons. I researched, and bone is actually harder then steal, or iron, so the bone weapons will be in between the iron sword and diamond sword. More powerful than the iron weapons, but not as hard as the diamond sword. And finally, the ancient fossil are always found near the giant skeleton fossils that pop up here and there. But just to make sure, the bones aren’t only found around the skeletons, they can be found else where. Over all, this would be a great thing to have in the Minecraft game.
