Nether Fishing

Made like a normal fishing rod but with blaze rods instead of sticks and a type of nether string obtained by killing a type of lava spider that lives in the basalt biome. Some of the drops you could receive would be special biome specific drops such as new nether related fish like a lava eel and other heat related organisms, you could also be able to catch new ingredients for potions and new enchantment books depending on which biome you fish in and also a small chance to get a netherite scrap (and also much more).

    Interesting but what would you catch, and it has to be leveled out in a way that adds danger. You could also make the feature biome specific

    it would have to be nether specific i would think. and also what if there was a chance to fish up something that would set the player on fire like a lava bubble or molten rock

    This post could be greatly improved if you said what could be caught while fishing in the Nether, but otherwise it's a great post.

    Also, some fish who inhabit the lava lakes would be nice.

    The crafting recipe could use a tweak, e.g. it could use some sort of new non-flammable string-like material instead of nether quartz, but other than that I think this concept has potential.

    There should be Nether fish that are dangerous. This could be an add on to the Lava boats. People could fish in the lava lakes. There should be mobs in the lava, like a giant fish with huge teeth or something. 

    NEW LAVA FISH MOBS

    (they should be giant, and dangerous, like the rest of the nether.)

    I think we could add at least one new type of fish ... a fire eel. To cook it you drop it in water (a cauldron). If tried to eat it without cooking it would light you on fire. if you ate it after cooking it’d heal some
    Hunger and provide 5 seconds of mild fire resistance.

    An amazing idea but I think that instead of quartz string, maybe netherite coated string since netherite cant burn

    it would be nice if the fish of the nether world could be exchanged with the piglin and for 1 he would give 1-3 self-made gold

    The recipe should use Blaze Rods for the sticks and Chains for the string. When fish come towards the bait, it should either use the fire or the lava-pop particles
