Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Magma Block contains extractable lava

A small feature that would be a nice addition to magma blocks is the ability to right click on them with an empty bucket to get a lava bucket, turning them into Netherrack. Also possibly an accompanying crafting recipe to make bulk processing faster. This is a simple way to make Netherrack and lava renewable (after conquering the Nether) as well as a more compressed way to store lava.
