Suggestions for Target Block announced in Minecon 2019

I want to share my two cents on how to make the target block less niche in its application, basically how to make it more useful for redstoners and builders alike. -Target Blocks should not only detect arrows, but eggs and ender pearls and snowballs and other throwables as well. - I also think they should react when placed next to other target blocks. As if they merge and form into one bigger target block. Like if you put a 2x1 target block, it can detect how close u are in the middle and its rectangular shaped. 3x3 works better of course, it is just an enlarged single target blocks. Therefore the size of target is adjustable and will still be proportionate to the redstone signal you want it to emit. - To achieve this, i think the target blocks should change its texture based on its position. If its a corner of a 3x3 that it will red and white stripe in a 90 degree angle. Its its on the sides, it'll just have one stripe of red and a stripe of white. If its just a single block, not connected to any other target blocks, then it should have a texture to how it is rn, layered with multiple red and white patterns. Hence builders can use the target block to form unique shapes and designs.
