Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Emergent plants

Emergent plants are plants that start growing underwater but eventually make contact with air in the surface, these could add a lot of life mostly to lakes and swamp, the plant could be 1 or 2 blocks tall underwater and rise 0.5 blocks above water and could either be completely brown (for contrast) or green with a brown end (like cattail)

    I like the idea, and I hope it will be a class Minecraft will put the mangrove tree in.
