Block Shells

Block Shells are a new concept, where you can modify a placed block's properties and overlay another texture onto it. Here are some examples:

The Reinforcement Shell is crafted by surrounding an Iron Ingot with Iron Nuggets. When placed onto a block, it wraps the block in an iron bar like texture. This makes the block harder to break and greatly increases its blast resistance.

The Glowing Shell is crafted by surrounding Glowstone with Iron Nuggets. It puts a small bright yellow circle in the middle of all sides of the block. It makes the block emit light.

The Netherrack Shell is crafted by surrounding Netherrack with Iron Nuggets. It puts small red dots all over the block. It allows a block to burn forever.
