Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enderite

Enderite would not be used to craft armor, as diamond armor is already the best available. However it would be used to craft other end game content such as:

Teleport Pad - Requires 3 Endstone and 3 Enderite Ingot, allows the player to teleport instantly between positions, can only have a max of two active teleport pads at a time.

End Portal Frame - Requires 3 Endstone, 2 Obsidian and 1 Enderite Ingot, allows the player to create a End Portal Frame that is also breakable.

Stasis Block - Requires 3 Obsidian and 3 Enderite Ingot, freezes any hostile mob that steps on it and can no longer move.

Enderite Tools - Typical crafting recipes for tools but with Enderite Ingot, more efficient than diamond tools however they have durability similar to gold.

Etc...

    i have a nice idea for the Endernite Tools when you break with them then you pickup instant the items and when your full then your items go to your ender chest

    Sorry, I'm late to the party, but, since netherite is being added as an upgrade to diamond armor and tools, perhaps enderite could be added in the same vein, using the smithing table to upgrade the diamond armor and tools.

    The reason I'm bringing this up is because u/Morvick on reddit created a massively upvoted post on this topic, and I'm wondering if we could add to this idea based on what's there:

    What if while holding an enderite sword or pickaxe, if you use the build button it casts a teleport "spell" to your bed

    Enderite sounds redundant with netherite, I'd look for a different name. I think it may be fun if it was found under suspicious heaps of End Stone suggested as being created by endermen. (They'd want to signal to each other where it is for a reason described below!) If it can be used to craft End Portal Frames it would be cool if the equivalent Enderite tools were the only ones able to break them, to give them a flair and purpose. It would also make sense that it is the material toward which Eyes of Ender are attracted, so it could have the ability to monopolize the destination point of endermen and players who eat chorus fruit in a certain area centered around it.

    Players would have the though choice of whether to craft this scarce resource into Portal Frames for a more convenient End Portal near their base or craft 9 of them into a Enderite Block which could be effectively be used as a teleport, with the drawbacks of attracting endermen and requiring chorus fruits.

    Of course, the imagination is quick to think about how these mechanics could be used and abused in many other ways (:

    I'm not sure I like the name "Enderite." Maybe something else, and it should be different than Netherite, or else its just a better netherite you can collect from the End. And the purple color wouldn't be a good choice, because it would look just like enchanted Nethrite armor. So some other color and name and has a something unique about it, but good idea regardless.

    I want the enderite armour and the tools should be stronger then netherite and also you can only find enderite on the bottom of end islands.

    Since there was an update that added netherite, I think there should be enderite armor that is made like netherite armor using a piece of netherite armor combined with one enderite ignot.

    If this does get made, I think it might be cool to make one to 5 enderite ore on each island in the end.

    While you have the full set it would be cool if you could command end mobs to attack things, for example endermen and shulkers.  Since shulkers can't move, you can use telekinesis on them.

    Enderite armor would make it so things that try to knock you back knock the enemy back, but still hurts you.

    I hope enderite gets made.

    I would like enderite armor. And diamond is not the strongest armor and tools in Minecraft bedrock! In Minecraft bedrock netherite is the strongest!

    I like this idea, with a few tweaks.

    Similar to Netherite, you would need to find multiple pieces to combine with another material to form the Enderite Ingots. This other material could be found in the Deep Dark, to encourage exploration as well as making it more challenging to achieve. The Enderite Ingot would upgrade Netherite tools and armor. When Netherite armor is upgraded, it would lose its Knockback Resistance, and instead can have Fall Damage Resistance.

    This is a good idea but you would have to incorporate netherite into the crafting or collecting process or you could make it where only a netherite pic can successfully mine it.
