Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Alarm Block

A redstone activated block, when activated it creates a ringing sound for aslong as its activated.

What uses could it have?

if you are building a house it can either work as a burglar alarm of a doorbell!

if you are making a carnival game it could add some realism to it. like if you used a target block (When its added) it could make a louder noise depending on how much of a redstone charge it was given (Like how close to the bulls-eye)

How would you craft it?

That would be up to mojang. but most likely with redstone, iron and quartz
