Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Short Grass

We have 'Grass Blocks', the solid, mostly dirt block, with a green texture on the top.

We have 'Grass', the non-solid plant block with wheat seeds as its drop.

 

I think it would be nice to have a non-solid plant block that is only about a quarter of a block tall.

Grass Blocks look a bit barren and boring.

Grass looks like it needs to be cut down in order to 'clean-up' an area.

'Short Grass' should look like a softer, more comfortable surface to walk over, without brushing at your legs.
