Aging houses

I think it would be pretty cool if you had to like clean your house after a while in game and stuff because at the moment nothing really happens to your house but maybe if you leave it or abandon it for to long if it’s made of wood it starts to decay and grow vines on it because that would be a cool feature cause as you know a wandering trader only spawns if your place is counted as a “village” or settlement of some kind so I think it would be cool if a player is not in a 50 block radius of their registered bed the structure around it would start gathering dust and vines and decaying maybe you could fix this by building a new tool of some sorts I just thought this would be pretty cool

    I think this is a really cool idea, especially because if players were to build structures and bases and then abandon them, it would be really cool to be able to go back to your old base and see it all over grown and decayed. I think it would be cool if there was a togglable option called “Building decay” or something where, once toggled on. Over time buildings using blocks like stone brick will become cracked and missy and cobble stone can turn to mosey cobble stone. Also some blocks can decay completely but only a very little amount, leaving some holes in old stone walls. And vines and moss should be able to grow on wood and other structures. I think this would be a really cool feature that would add another level of difficulty to the game as you’d actually have to look after your builds.
