Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

"Longevity" Enchantment

This enchantment would cause an item when broken to behave like an Elytra, so instead of disappearing, it would just become useless, but you can still repair it. This would be useful when you don't notice a pickaxes durability getting low, and it has a ton of enchantments on it that took a while obtain, instead of disappearing it will just become useless, and you can repair it later. This would apply to anything with durability, and would not be able to be enchanted with the enchanting table.

    I agree, but maybe not even in enchantment form, it could just be as a setting in the Options tab, because while this would be useful, I'm not sure if I'd be willing to sacrifice a "slot" on the armor to apply this enchantment.

    Yessss! I have a sword on very very low durability it’s like 1 hit left then broken
