Most of us have taken some sort of science class that tells us about the rock cycle. If so, you should know that there are three major types of rock: Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic. Minecraft already has sandstone, but you could add a feature where you could stack sand and the bottom block could become sandstone. If you don’t like that idea you might like the rest. How about sand can be generated from types of stone that are next to a large body of water representing the rock being ground up into sand? Alright some of you still might not be sure about any of these ideas. But the next one is my favorite. If there is single lava blocks (with no neighboring lava blocks surrounding it) in the world that are exposed to air, they could cool into a type of rock like andesite, diorite, or granite. Another thing you could do is add Andesite to surrounding lava pools (Andesite is an Extrusive igneous Rock) These are all types of igneous rocks in the real world, so why not add a way to make them without crafting! We can already make normal stone and cobblestone generators, so why not show these types of stone some love too! I hope you enjoyed my ideas and could maybe someday implement them into the game for a more interesting playing and learning experience!
