Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Boats on rails

If you want to build a boat ride in Minecraft, it has to be self-powered. I think that can change. If you could put boats without oars on the side, like the old Minecraft boats, on a new type of rail, it would be very useful to theme park builders.
