Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether ivy [nether update]

I'd like to introduce.. the Nether Ivy.

 

The nether ivy is a climber, just like the vine block. It is found in a new nether biome and grows on the side of a new nether tree that consists of little pieces of bone. Steve and Alex can climb the nether ivy. But beware of the thorns! Each climbed nether ivy block has a 20% chance to damage the player for half a heart, as if you accidentally grab into a lovely thorn. 

I made a texture thing in blockbench, utilizing the bamboo and bone block textures. The vines should look like any other plant. The thorns should be bone-y, to represent the sinister atmosphere of the nether.

    I would love for the nether to have climbing vegetation, and the potential damage is a good idea! An additional idea would be to have animation a little like with sea grass, so that the vines would look creepy and alive.

    I think the vines should be charcoal black but good idea
