    I don't really understand or agree with the buildings and mobs inside bit, but the idea of being able to add shulker boxes to minecarts is good.

    The main function I can think of using this for is refilling a shulker box, lets use a redstone filled shulker box as an example;

    1. Combine the box with a minecart
    2. Place minecart on a rail with hoppers above the rail
    3. Minecart travels back and forth under the line of hoppers containing redstone components.
    4. Shulker box is restocked by the variety of different components in said hoppers.
    5. Once done the minecart and shulker box are dropped as separate items and shulker box is restocked.
    6. Profit?

    That's just one of many applications this could possible be used for, we don't need additional features, the fact that shulker boxes retain inventory when dropped is already powerful enough.

    @F1R3FLYY OG Honestly, I agree, a few months after posting it doesn't seem very true to the vanilla game. I guess I got feature hungry.

    I personally would like to see the ability to dispense a full shulker box into a minecart rather than needing to craft it although they aren't mutually exclusive.

    I like this, except I think it should keep the shulker box in the minecart. Like a chest minecart, but it keeps it's items.

    I was just thinking this would be a great tool, because the main point of moving storage is to move it, outside of your inventory. This provides a better tool than the Minecart with Chest, because upon breaking, you don't have a ton of items spilled all over the ground. Transporting shulkers could even be easier. Dispense a Shulker onto a Minecart to turn it into a Minecart with Shulker, which gets sent over track to destination, where it gets dumped off. Much more server-friendly than a hopper line.

    The main difference between a Chest Minecart, besides dropping a shulker box instead of items, could be that the shulker boxes could be put in/out of the minecart without destroying the minecart

    I think with the recent update, it might be cool if the shulkerbox minecart, when destroyed, gives back a shulkerbox minecart with all the item inside. The only way to get those items out is by a player taking it out or a hopper minecart. Might be useful in farms.

    i agree that this should exist -- im working on a mailing system and my plan would be significantly easier if i could use shulkers in minecarts.

    but i think the 2nd part should only be do-able with dispensers, not just dropping it at the minecart, yknow?
