Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Platform blocks

Imagine having the platform block.  Make the platform scrap, put it in the platform block, some regular blocks, and get platforms. You put the platforms on the ground, right beside the edge of the block you are placing on. It is the same way scaffolding works. Point in the direction which you want the platform to spawn on. There are 2 by 2, 3 by 3, 4 by 4, and 5 by five platforms that you can get. You put in the same amount of blocks that are specified for the platform (Example...2 by 2 would be 4 blocks, 3 by 3 would by 9 blocks etc.) This would help building large areas much much easier! All that this does, is making building far more easier than just placing the individual blocks down. (Warning...if you place it wrong, you will lose some of the platform)

(You can do it with any block! Just so long you have enough of those blocks!)
