skeleton dogs

if your dog got struct by lightning it will turn into a skeleton dog and it acts like a regular dog but skeleton are not afraid of them.the skeleton dog would not attack them.

    maybe you can find them with skeletons too, maybe their using it as a hunting dog?

    well, I mean what's the purpose of skeleton horses if this were added it would probably just be a reskin of the normal dogs think of it as a separate breed of dog, not a good killing method.

    I think skeleton horses were just made as an easter egg, i think the doggo should have a little more to it than just a skin. Like maybe it can only be found in the nether in packs as hostile mobs, and has a percent chance to be neutral/friendly to you, if the player defeats it. From there it can be tamed.

    The only difference from it vs other dogs is prehaps it being fire resistant, but weak to water. Making it a pet thats slightly better suited for the nether

    Cause with the way things are right now, bringing most of any ally to the nether is not a fun time

    maybe if you tame one , any kind of skeleton won't attack you.maybe a wither kind. or giving blindness.or could be tamed by skeletons.

    They should a hostile mob that spawn in groups called skeleton patrols at night. These patrols should consist of 4 skeletons and 2 skeleton wolves/dogs (in snowy biomes its strays). When the skeleton wolf sees a player they will howl in the air giving a strenght boost to any skeleton mob in a ten block radius. If you dont know this is how they worked in minecraft earth.

    It should probably be spawned with the skeleton horse trap and be immune to fire and projectiles (and lava for those of you that count that as different than fire) and after he is tamed (someone else work out how to do that) when he kills a creeper it drops a music disk

    Minecraft Earth already has this. The ones in Earth cannot be tamed and the are hostile, fighting alongside Skeletons. When they howl, they give other Skeletal Mobs an increase in Power. We just need the ones from earth in the main Game

    Use dantdm grim texture? also skelotons will not atack you if you have one

    Would prefer this as a straight hostile mob like. Wild wolf struck by lightning turns into a aggressive skeleton wolf. Have it also attack the normal wolves around it

    The skeleton wolf could spawn at night during a certain moon phase. Just like Minecraft Earth, it would howl and summon 2 more to attack the player. I like the idea of having an already tamed wolf being struck by lightning and turning skeletal--keeping the collar. That way, you can't tame one that's hostile by nature. Of course, that means it can burn in the daylight and it would be undead.

    I think it should spawn in the soul sand valley instead of having a dog turn into it when struck by lightning.

    what if it shot arrows at zombies? or could come back together (they shatter on death) if  you give them a bone caller

    If these do get added, they should be the pets of skeleton horsemen! Also, they shouldn’t be able to have wolf armor equipped or be truly tamed.
