in-game accessibility

As a blind player of Minecraft on the Xbox platform, I love the ability to navigate and configure my preferences to meet my needs. However, in-game play navigation isn't quite where it needs to be. While text-to-speech in chats is absolutely beautiful, I don't know what blocks I'm picking up when I navigate, nor can I craft things without the help of visual aid. Since the game detects the use of a screen-reader at startup, I believe it would be helpful for those who use that particular service to have in-game navigation during game play as well. This would include some kind of helpful assistance to determine what kind of block is being gathered, the ability to craft items independently without the use of another person, ETC.
