Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Efficiency on Vines

Shears with Efficiency on them don't collect vines any faster. Efficiency only works on vines when applied to swords, but swords cannot collect vines, even with the Silk Touch enchantement.

Please allow Efficiency shears to collect vines faster.

    Do efficiency shears work on wool better?
    Maybe the efficiency is not supposed to have an effect, as I don't think it's naturally obtainable, though I could be wrong.
    However, regardless of whether or not the efficiency is supposed to be functional, I think vines, wool and leaves should all be broken equally as fast, preferably instant.

    I get it when you want vines and you just take 10 years to get many of them, but actually I don’t think it is helpful and vines also break fast right??

    I had the same idea while farming vines. It seems inconsistent with the rest of the tools.

    I tried reporting this as a bug however apparently it was a "feature request" It makes no sense that the tool that is suppose to collect vines is unaffected by the efficiency enchantment.

    I don't think it should be on shears I think the idea of keeping shears being able to obtain vines with shears is good and I think efficiency should work on shears but much like the hoe with the wart blocks I think either the hoe or the axe should obtain vines faster because axes do chop away vines very quickly but they're unobtainable with an axe even with silk touch which is unfortunate because on bedrock they allow axes with silk touch to obtain vines of course following the same guidelines as you break a vine higher up all the vines below it won't drop because you only used silk touch on that one vine but either way it just needs to be faster I don't really care what tool it is as long as I can break vines faster I'd be happy.
