Pets can either sit or follow. Add a 3rd option for roaming the area.

When using LT, L2 or right click on a pet to make them sit or follow, crouching should allow them to patrol a certain radius around that point. 

You could even get them to greet you when you return. We need a happy medium between animal decorations and following relentlessly (which almost always leads to their deaths).

    I Think Free Roam Would Be Great, Pets also sleeping at night would be cool.

    What about Bedrock? Possibly tapping them in sneak? Also, i think they should only roam a 5×5 block area.
