Villager Whistle

Have you ever wanted a villager to take over a specific occupation or sleep in a specific bed. This may be proven difficult because villagers seem to do as they please since the village and pillage update. Introducing the whistle! Just click on the villager, their job, and the destination of their bed and all of those things will be linked together. This could also work for transporting villagers. Just click on the villager and the spot you want them to walk to. However they can only be commanded to walk short distances at a time. Some other functions this could serve is when you activate the whistle while crouched you can teleport your pets to your current location. This item would be more balanced in obtaining if it was unable to be crafted and was acquired from a tool smith villager. Let me know what you guys think of this idea :)

    omg this would be soooooooooo useful. Its so annoying trying to find a villagers current bed /job if I want them to have one of my choosing

    This is great because I tried making a giant village with many different types of villagers it took so long to get 2 there.

    This would make an excellent way to recall pets that have gotten lost sitting somewhere while exploring.

    Minecraft desperately needs a way to recall pets in survival. This would be a new way to interact with pets which definitely could use an update, especially the 🐶.

    This whistle would be a great way to interact with your 🐕 🐈 🐬 🐎 🐑 🐏 🦊🐖 🐢 🦜

    There could be a way to train them to do 2 or 3 actions that make sense respectively.

    But the most important thing is recalling lost sitting pets.... its a problem 😕 😪

    Yes! This would be an awesome feature to add!!! It would be great if you could immediately summon your trusty steed to your side when you're ready to ride. The whistle could work on your pet/tamed animal no matter how far they wander, and this would prevent players from having to build pens for their animals. If one wanders away, just whistle for them!
