What is parity? This category is designed just for features that exist but work one way on one platform, and another way on a different platform. Bugs are not parity! on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, Silk Touch Axes can harvest Vines. This makes collecting vines much more convenient for the player. This is not the case in Java, and you can only harvest them with Shears.
I think that for the sake of player convenience, Java Edition should copy Bedrock and you should be able to harvest Vines with your Silk Touch Axes.
