Sickle and Skive enchantment

Sickle

A sickle is a tool used to harvest crops. And why are they better than using hands? Well, they cut a radius of crops. Well, also, why would you use a tool that you will have to repair/rebuild whenever you can harvest them with your hands without trouble? Because now crops take longer to harvest by hand. This applies to wheat especially. Read more to get specifics about the tool and new suggested crop mechanics.

 

Mechanics and interactions (Ony applies to wheat)

When a sickle is used, a radius is of wheat is cut. The radius is not made around the specific wheat clicked on, it is a radius around the player. And this radius is a circle. And the radius is dependent on the enchantment called Skive. Again, the name is up to debate, but I find it pretty fitting to other enchantments with funk names. According to me, they must be Skive I, Skive II, and Skive III. Again, that is up to debate. And also, fortune applies to this tool (also up to debate).

 

Interaction to bamboo and sugarcane

When you talk about these plants, they appear very solid, and they indeed are. So, now you can use a sword (already in java edition) or the sickle to instant break the plant. But, it will take a little bit of time to mine the whole thing.

    Its a brilliant idea, not sure of the enchantment though, I think its a better idea to have like wooden sickles, stone sickles, iron sickles and all that stuff instead of the enchantment.
