enchantment is made almost Right now, it’s impossible to consistently repair an item in bedrock. I can only go a week or two until my fully enchanted diamond pickaxe becomes “Too Expensive” to fix, and I have to grind for hours to get a new one. This is made worse as the mending impossible to obtain, since villagers don’t say what enchanted book they have until you’ve traded for it, and all other methods of getting enchanted books (ie. fishing) takes hours of tedious repetitive grinding. One of these should be adjusted. My suggestion is to remove the prior work penalty, and instead calculate the experience cost for repairs based on the item type and what enchantments it has. Around 20-30 levels for a diamond tool with multiple enchantments seems to be a more balanced approach.
