We've got the normal forest, and the taiga, but we don't have a forest with a mix of both, which are very common in the real world. It would add a little more variety instead of only two biomes with primarily oak and spruce.
I think it would be a small but nice addition to the game, and maybe we could see something more unique with this kind of forest!
Example; mushrooms could be more frequent in these forests, and maybe we could have a new edible mushroom like chanterelles or/and Boletus Edilus (Penny bun/Porcino/Cep), and maybe a new plant like a blueberry bush, or some new mob like deer or smaller birds.
A new tree could be the rowan / mountain ash which only can be found in the boreal forest, and its berries can be harvested and eaten.
There are many trees that could be added, like ash, elder, pine, maple etc. But I'll keep this suggestion to just one for now.
The terrain could be varied, both hilly and flatter with small ares of mostly evergreens, some areas with mostly leaf-trees and the majority of the forest being a great mix, with the mushrooms found in bigger clusters. Sometimes a randomly high cliff or hill, covered in mostly evergreens, might appear. I think it would be a beautiful addition, and a fun one if some unique features were added!
