Jigsaw and Structure Block

I believe Mojang should expand on the ability for the user to generate structures. A way I can see an implementation of this into already existing mechanisms would be to allow datapacks to use a "controller" to read newly generated chunks and if x criteria is met, then it would generate some kind of structure or complex based off of a structure file. Could be neat, as currently I believe it is only possible to generate these things based off of the /locate command.
