Better End pillars and End portal

Have the end pillars not only be obisidian, but be like a sort of tower and the end crystal inside of the top room. To destroy the crystal you have to beat a new mob, sort of like an end spider that protects the crystal. As all the end mobs, they teleport. Their special attack is jumping at you and giving you a poisonous effect. They give a special loot, that would the end spider sting that is used to craft a poisonous potion, or you could just hit someone with it and poison him. 

The end portal is also bettered, being like a little fortress/house.

It is all made with end bricks/ purpour block and other end blocks.

    I love this idea, perhaps some towers don't have pathways up, and some might be floating rooms. Great idea!

    I feel like this should definitely be added because the end dragon battle is the last battle it should be more challenging especially since we got netherite armor now.

    Maybe there could be one made from crying obsidian and you can make a special portal with eyed obsidian made from eyes of Ender and crying obsidian to get to the end after you have a key or some special item from an outer end structure.

    I don’t know exactly if you should add mobs as obstacles, but different shaped end pillars would be 69

    I think this is a great idea! If you don't want to wait you can install the better end mod for fabric on curseforge. It also looks great with chocpic 13 shader

    There definitely should be the better end pillars, the obsidian pillars we see currently aren't very interesting and the extra bits could actually make the dragon battle a bit harder - it's a little harder to fire arrows at something that is partially concealed by decoration
