Java Parity: Beacons unaffected by simulation distance

    That's not what simulation distance is. Simulation distance doesn't have any effect on visibility, only on whether blocks and entities receive update ticks. The beacon beam disappearing is caused by a different rule that only renders entities within a certain distance of the player.

    Not only beam Beacon power (effects) are also disappearing. If your beacon is out of simulation distance it's power disappearing even if you are in beacon radius. I have fully powered beacon so when I go to any border of beacon range effects are disappearing. if I increase simulation distance to 6 it's working fine
    Please fix it if it's a bug
