As of the Update Aquatic, Turtle Helmets we’re introduced into the game as a new and fun way of exploring the ocean depths. The helmets ability grants you an extra 10 seconds of water breathing, which is quite handy. But what if there were more amour equipment that did this, for example a pair of boots that granted 5 seconds of Slow Falling when off the ground. Of course, this would need to be balanced so not everyone would be walking in these helpful boots, so you would construct the boots or piece of armour out of a rare or hard to obtain item (e.g Phantom Membrane). This could also coincide with the recently added Bee mob. When a chest plate is constructed out of a uncommon item (e.g Cobwebs), it could create a chest plate that is immune to poisonous stings from Bees and poisoned potions from Witches and the venom of the small Cave Spiders, but of course all these armour pieces would have a down side. For example, though a poison proof chest plate would come in handy, it would come with weakened attack (Weakness 1). This idea would be unique as we only currently have one really unique piece of armour with the rest only increasing armour stats. These items would also encourage players to go and find these rarer items to make some special new gear. So that is a basic sum up of my idea for where armour should go in the future. I hope this gets considered as this would spice up armour and have players chose more armour wise (e.g Have more Defense or Slow Falling)
