Hot biomes, although annoyingly common, aren't a big group of biomes. It's only 3 biomes and their alts. I propose a 4th one, the bushland! It has a pale olive grass colour.
The bushland is home to a special type of tree called a boab. They're 8x8 blocks wide and are hollow. There is a 2x2x1 pit inside the boab that has water inside it. Breaking boab leaves gives you boab saplings, sticks and a new item called the boab nut. This drops 25% of the time and can be eaten for 4 hunger. Boab saplings need to be in a 2x2 square to grow.
Rarely, boab prisons can be found. They are 12x12 boabs with no leaves and an entrance barred off by iron bars. Inside is a filled cauldron, a brown bed and a chest with dungeon loot. There is no water in boab prisons. Bushes using boab logs and leaves spawn uncommonly, but are common around boab prisons.
Fossils and large, red sandstone mounds spawn as well. Some blocks in the red sandstone mounds can be replaced by gold ore.
Rabbits are very common, but otherwise no animals found outside of the bushland spawn in it.
Exclusive mobs and villages spawn here, but I'll go over that in other posts.
