Minecraft is a game that has many atmospheric attributes to it. That's why I propose adding matchsticks to the game. They would look like a regular red coloured matchstick but in jappa's artstyle.
The crafting recipe is one stick + one slimeball + one gunpowder = 20 matchsticks.
The shape of the recipe is upright with the stick at the bottom, slime in the middle and gunpowder on the top (so the slime glues the gunpowder to the stick)
Like any fire-making item matchsticks can be right-clicked to set blocks on fire. But each match can only be used once. That's why you get 20 matches from one single crafting.
To add even more atmosphere if you craft a match with a dye it will take the name of the colour and the match head will take the colour of the dye. The match will also make coloured fire which emits coloured light. So blue matches make blue fire.
The regular undyed matches have a brownish-red coloured match head so they don't get confused with red dyed matches which make red coloured fire.
