When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Mojang we need this as some redstone machines stop working after a while due to the randomness which makes redstone not fun to use on Bedrock

I actually haven't found any documentation on the update order for minecraft bedrock, and am starting to doubt it's existence.

We don’t even need 1 tick pulses and quasi connectivity. All we want is if you flick a lever, the same thing will happen every time (flying machines don’t work at all in bedrock)

I have a feeling this is more of a bug than a feature. It may be trickey for them to fix, but I hope they do.

For anyone confused on what this is: place two pistons facing into the same block so they are on perpendicular faces (say North and West sides). Place a button so that it will activate both pistons at the same time.

In java, when the button is pressed, only one piston will ever fire, the same piston no matter how many times you press it.

In Bedrock, the same setup will fire one piston, or the other, randomly. It may be piston a or it may be piston b. There is no consistency. It makes it impossibly to build redstone contraptions that handle several different variables.

This bug can be extended to everything else involving redstone. Two pistons on the same line of redstone will activate in a random order, redstone repeaters set at the same delay may turn on connected lamps at different times, etc.

I have a lot of sympathy for developers, but no matter how difficult this bug is to fix, it has to be fixed. This is game-breaking for technical players.

Please Mojang…I just want to be able to build sliding doors without having a mess of redstone ‘circuitry’ to work around…🥺 can we at least make it that simple and predictable…
