You can feed or throw snow golems blue ice. After it has consumed a lot of blue ice it will transform into an abominable snow golem. They change grass blocks into blocks of snow(or snow) and water into ice. It is peaceful unless you hit it, it will always attack mobs though. If it hits a target it will give them slowness, it can also through giant snowballs at them that have huge knockback. If it rains around the snow golem it turns the rain into snow and is not affected. If you somehow manage to get one into the nether it will not start dying like a regular snow golem but it will be weakened (All mobs in the nether will be aggressive towards it). It will not place snow but it will turn lava into stone and magma blocks into cobblestone.
