Nether Wound

The Nether Wound is a plantlike structure which grows similar to sugar cane. Due to it only naturally growing on Soul Sand in the Nether (can be grown on Sand aswell), it helps making this dimension more interesting. The Nether Wound drops itself when it is harvested with Silk Touch or blown up. If not harvested like this it will drop Souls. When grown in the Overworld the Nether Wound slowly converts Sand, it is placed on, to Soul Sand. The harvested Souls can be used to restore small amounts of health, craft Soul Sand and if used in the Brewing Stand create a potion of Phantom Defense, which protects you from Phantoms.
