Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Platinum!

As in real life platinum is more effective, less durable and more common that diamond. It will be like gold but better. To differentiate it from iron and stone, who are both similar tones, platinum will be gray with white shimmering dots.

    What if you could craft a platinum apple with an enchanted apple at the center with eight platinum ingots surrounding it. The platinum apple will give you these effects: regeneration, resistance, absorption, fire resistance, conduit power, invisibility and strength for ten seconds.
