Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Had the same idea. Makes the ocean more accessible in the early game, and it wouldn't be too powerful. Requires only a little preparation to go exploring underwater without building tunnels down into the ocean. I guess the only question is if it could have more utility than only that specific situation so that it is still useful beyond the very early game.

I don't think it really needs other utilities, it seems simple enough to implement but having some other utility might justify putting it in the game. Maybe throwing it in fire or lava creates a small pillar of flame, as the fire ignites the trapped air. Maybe in the future there could be some other environment where air is scarce and the player can't use water-breathing to breathe while there because there is no air in the atmosphere and they must bring bottles of air? Maybe that's a stretch, but it could be cool.

I think this would be a great idea for the new flooded caves before the player gets access to water breathing potions. Maybe you would have to seal it with wax to make it more difficult to obtain, and to give wax and bottles more uses.

I think these should be stackable, maybe just up to 16, because a lot of them would be used at once.  Oh and also, I'm not entirely sure about the wax idea.  Even though it makes sense, I think it's just too much effort to get a beehive.
