Both the Nether and the End have a boss that represents them. The Overworld however, doesn't. Let's change that.
The Thunderbird would look like a giant bird pterodactyl hybrid with purple cracked skin and glowing blue eyes. It would be summoned by throwing an item called a suspicious egg, which can be found rarely in dungeons or dropped rarely by chickens instead of an egg. When summoned it roars, causing a thunderstorm.

This is the suspicious egg. It has a yellow name and can't be stacked. Right clicking with it throws it like an egg, summoning the Thunderbird.
The Thunderbird does 8 damage and has 200 health. It swoops at the player and spawns thunderling mobs that fly towards the player that do 4 damage and have 16 health. After 3 - 5 attacks the Thunderbird will roost for 5 seconds.
On death, the Thunderbird will drop 20 experience and a tamed thunderling. The tamed thunderling has green eyes and has 32 health. It attacks hostile mobs, can be commanded to sit or stand up and can be healed by being fed raw meat or rotten flesh.
