Force Field Generator

This item is to kind of give Minecraft a bit more technological feel to it.

This Item can be placed on the ground to cover 30 by 30 blocks in a force field bubble. Within this force field bubble no mobs can spawn but mobs can slowly try deal damage to the bubble from the outside. To repair the force field bubble after it had been damaged the player would need to walk over to the generator and insert a diamond to repair it. To upgrade the amount of blocks it covers (from 30 by 30 to 50 by 50 to 80 by 80 etc) you will have to insert an emerald and eventually the generator will be maxed out for how many blocks it can cover. Also it can cover your house from rain and lightning storms. To craft the Force Field Generator will cost 3 glass, 1 beacon, 4 obsidian, and 1 dragon egg.

If people do not like this idea I can understand because it is a far fetched idea.
