So, the idea is that you can find resin, as an item, on the bark of some spruce trees and when stripping the bark from the trunk / log.
Use: Primarily, resin would act like cheap fuel that can be used in a furnace, for example, but only being able to melt around 1-2 items per resin. It could also be used to make torches when coal and charcoal isn't available, like in the early game.
However, it could also be used to heal up just a couple of HP; in reality resin has antibacterial properties and can be applied to wounds. In a situation where a few HP can be the difference between life and death, some resin could do well!
Another use of reisin is glue; in reality pine/spruce resin mixed with charcoal makes an excellent glue. It could be used as a substitute for slime when it isn't available (if you don't find swamps or Slimes).
Why: I think it could add to the versitality of the game, and especially as a substitute for other items not directly available (like in the early game) and it would add some use to the Taiga biome and spruces!
