Mob & Player Barrier Block

There already are barrier blocks in the game, but what if there were blocks that could let only players or only mobs through.  Let's say I'm building something and i want it to have mobs in it.  Unlike structures like pillager outposts and villages, which are generated, the mobs will not stay there.  (If you do create what the game considers to be a valid village, the villagers you spawn will stay there.  But I'm talking about other mobs.)  If I want the mobs to inside of the my structure, but i want to let players go in and out at will, then I could use a mob barrier block, that let's only players go through, and blocks mobs.  If i want to keep players in an area, but let mobs go in and out, then you use a player barrier block, which allows mobs to pass through, but blocks players.  This could be acquired like regular barrier blocks, through commands, and not spawn naturally.

    This def an quality of life idea.

    You can do the same thing easily with command blocks.

    But... That dosnt work if you playing survival mode only

    if you're looking for a cuurent survival friendly option, I recommend scaffolding. I like to use them for bee farms, climbing up through the bottom of a little bee hut. Ofc this works with anything if they're above the scaffolding since mobs can't sneak through them, and works for most mobs below them except climbin spider. But yea a less limited option would be nice, since they are vertical and you can't see well through them.
