So, I was thinking of a new weapon to be included in minecraft that can be used as a melee and ranged weapon. To craft these "blades", it requires a stick, iron ingots, and a chain to be crafted, with the stick in the bottom left corner, chain in the middle, and the two ingots in the top right and middle of the crafting table. Gold, Iron, and Diaomnds can only be used to craft it. It can be used as a normal melee weapon, but also as a throwable weapon when held and released. If contact is made, the entity or person hit will be dealt half the damage of the melee attack, and pulls the entity or the person closer to them too. It will take 2.5 seconds to charge and release. The blade has a limited throw distance of about 4-5 blocks. It can be enchanted with the same enchantments as swords besides fire aspect (sweeping edge effect would only work when thrown as the blade will follow through the sweep). Damage will also be less compared to swords.
