Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There should be an item that lets you keep your inventory

One of the most frustrating things that can happen in minecraft survival is when you die and all of your items and XP are gone. It doesn't matter how skilled you are; you're bound to make tiny mistakes, like letting go of shift while traversing in the end islands and when you do, everything you have, all your armour, all your loot, all your items and all your XP will be gone. So many people are frustrated about losing everything they had that most people just cheat and use the "keep inventory true" command 

 

That's why I believe there should be an item that if you keep in your inventory, you keep all your items after death. Because this is an extremely OP item, it should be extremely hard to get (e.g. finding it in a hard to find structure like the woodland mansion and/or killing a boss)

    Yes good idea, i think it would be obtainable by killing evokers or some rare mob, obviously it would have a rare chance, like 6%?

    I think it would be overpowered to be able to save your whole inventory. Maybe an enchantment for individual items would be more fair.

    Oh yeah! Like the totem of undying keeps you from dying, a totem of keep inventory will keep your inventory from falling in lava or something. And like the totem, it should only be found in loot chests.

    I think the item should also disappear when you die, so it isnt overpowered.

    Well, the totem of holding from quark allows your items to all be put in a totem of holding, and kept in place where you died (no special item required), or you could make a personal rule to yourself, have a specific item and if you have it you can have keepinventory turned on
